If the wound bleeds, we stop the bleeding. If is small enough to wash the wound with soap under running water, so drag the dirt. If there are any embedded object, remove with tongs previously disinfected with alcohol. It should always wash from the center to the periphery so that any dirt crawl. We can also wash with saline or hydrogen peroxide, diluted to 50%. Next apply an antiseptic such as iodine or chlorhexidine and covered with gauze and tape. If the wound is large and the bleeding is important to always have to call emergency services.
