Two Grains Are Healthy Chilean Sugar, Fat and Salt
A study in Chile has shown that cereal manufacturers have made changes to the presentation of their products, but not the content of its grain.
According to the Organisation of Consumers and Users (Odecu) of 50 brands tested, only two grains in the Chilean market are healthy blood sugar levels, fat and salt.
The study found things like that 46% of the contents of a box of Froot Loops Kellogg’s is sugar. On the other hand, the highest amount of salt corresponds to Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, which has 1,100 mg of sodium (salt) per 100 grams of the product. This is equivalent to three grams salt.
