Diagnosis of Hypoglycemia in People without Diabetes
How is the diagnosis?
The diagnosis is established by measuring blood glucose. If levels are below 54 mg/dL makes the diagnosis of hypoglycemia.
If you suspect a tumor in the pancreas, the patient should be monitored in the hospital, which often measure blood glucose levels. If it drops too low, also measured insulin levels. If insulin levels are elevated, you should look for a tumor in the pancreas and, if found, remove it surgically.
Exercise and diet

What is hypoglycemia (low blood glucose)?
Hypoglycemia is a clinical condition characterized by decreased glucose (sugar) levels below 45-54 mg/dl (2.5-3 mmol/l). Usually associated other symptoms disappear within 10-15 minutes after taking sugar.
What causes hypoglycemia?
